iPhone, iPad, Safari Known Issues

Jigsaw can be accessed using your iPhone, iPad, and Safari on MacOS.  However, there are some known issues that Jigsaw is working on to resolve for future releases.

The main Known Issues are:

  1. Mobile Version stops working if the iPhone user is a Co-Host and Annotations are turned on
  2. iPhone user does not receive chat notifications
  3. iPhone user is unable to annotate in Pane 2
  4. iPhone user is unable to hide the Whiteboard Toolbar
  5. The Noteboard is not available for Mobile Phone users
  6. Personal Web Cam Recordings cannot be played
  7. Volume from Audio/Video in Pane 1 cannot be heard when iPhone user moves to a different Pane
  8. Volume lowers if iPhone user is promoted to Co-Host in session then refreshes their browser (sound returns to normal if the iPhone user is demoted back to Attendee)
  9. SSR Videos (Session Recordings) cannot be played on iPhones
  10. Math Editor does not work consistently
  11. Direct Chat notifications are not seen/heard if the iPhone user is on a Pane other than the Chat Pane
  12. Attendee Settings are cut off in Landscape mode
  13. Audio/Video becomes out of sync if iPhone user mutes/unmutes mic while the asset is played
  14. iPhone user cannot insert images to Whiteboard from Pane 3
  15. Zoom will reset if the iPhone user switches to a different pane and back to the original pane
  16. Platform becomes unusable if iPhone attendee is promoted to Co-Host.  User can refresh browser to fix.
  17. Audio/Video will not start until the iPhone user clicks OK on the "Please unmute your media" message
  18. Speakers do not Output Sound Until Mic/Webcam is Enabled on IOS Devices (see Workaround)

 


iPad

  1. Personal Web Cam Recordings cannot be played
  2. SSRs cannot be played on iPads
  3. Users may see a broken layout when moving between Breakout Rooms/Main Room
  4. Asset Library contains 0 items even though there are Assets uploaded
  5. Audio/Video becomes out of sync if iPad user mutes/unmutes mic while the asset is played
  6. Host/Co-Host is unable to add Assessments to the Asset Library from the iPad
  7. Audio/Video in Pane 1 will continue to play even if the Host pauses the asset
  8. Speakers do not Output Sound Until Mic/Webcam is Enabled on IOS Devices (see Workaround)

 


Safari on MacOS

  1. Personal Web Cam Recordings cannot be played using Safari
  2. SSRs cannot be played using Safari
  3. If the Safari users has Web Cam/Mic turned on and refreshes browser, the Web Cam/Mic appears red, but is still working
  4. Incorrect OS version is appearing under Profile in Attendee List when user is a Mac > Safari 11.0.1 user
