Merging Integrated Audio to Your Internal Conference Line

Q: What is Universal Voice?

A: It is an add-on feature that utilizes a built-in conference line that works for local or international calls. Because the audio is integrated it offers attendees the option of using "Computer" or "Phone" audio while in a session, and it works nicely with Jigsaw's Server Side Recording and in Breakout Rooms.

Q: How do I add Universal Voice to my Jigsaw application?

A: Phone numbers are purchased through Jigsaw. There is an annual service fee for each number and fees are calculated individually based on cost per minute. Prepaid packages can reduce cost-per-minute fees.

Q: Who sets up the phone numbers purchased?

A: Your Jigsaw Account Manager.

Q: How many lines can be used?

A: 250 phone lines

UNIVERSAL VOICE SUPPORT

Once Universal Voice Support has been activated on your Jigsaw account, the “Use Jigsaw Conference Line" and "Computer and Jigsaw Conference Line" options are available under the Settings page.

Locations of Session and Attendee Codes

It is possible to provide the Session Code and Attendee Code prior to the Attendee prior to the session.  The Session Code and Attendee Code for the individual Attendee can be founder in three other locations:

1. Hover Tip over Attendee's Name under the Session Attendees list on #4 Attendees when Editing a Session

2. Send an Invite from the Session Attendees list.  The invitation the Attendee receives will have the Session Code and Attendee Code.

3. From the Upcoming Sessions page when the Attendee logs into Jigsaw, there is an Add to Calendar button.  When the Attendee opens that calendar event and adds the event to their online calendar, it will include the Session Code and Attendee Code.

Call Me Feature

Jigsaw also offers a Call Me feature where the user can request the Jigsaw Conference Line to call the phone number that is convenient for the user.

If a company has opted to use the Call Me feature, the user will see "[calling out to you]" as one of the available listings in the Choose Audio pop-up window.

Once selected, the user will see a field to enter a phone number for the Jigsaw Conference Line to dial.  This number should be one that is easily accessible and can be a landline, mobile number, or conference line number.  You can also use a phone number with an extension.

After entering the complete number you want the system to call, click the Call Me button.

Once you are connected, you will see the OK button appear next to the Call Me button.  Click that to close the pop-up message and continue with your session.

USING BREAKOUT ROOMS

When attendees, using the phone audio, are moved in and out of breakout rooms, the Host should allow a few seconds for audio to reconnect. You will hear “beeps” as each user’s audio is reconnecting.

  • Dial into your company's internal conference line.

  • Merge the Jigsaw integrated (conference line) audio to your company's conference line.
