Pane 1: How To Play Pre-Recorded Videos

Q:     What are pre-recorded videos?

A:     Video files with the following formats: .asf, .avi, .flv, .mov, .mp4, .m4v and .wmv

Q:     Can YouTube videos be loaded into Jigsaw?

A:     You can upload Web Link assets for any YouTube video. If you want to play the video from panes 1 or 4, you will need to upload the video file as a “Video” asset into Jigsaw.

Q:     From where can videos be viewed in a Jigsaw session?

A:     Videos can be viewed from panes 1 and 4. When played in pane 1, the Current Presenter controls the “stop” and “start” of the video and seen by all session attendees. When played in pane 4, the session attendee controls the “stop” and “start” of the video and seen by that attendee only.

Select the video by clicking on the video name and click the “Play” button.

Note: The “Download” button allows the Current Presenter to save external of Jigsaw.

 

To “pause” or “stop” the video use the appropriate buttons.


Session attendees can control volume individually by adjusting the blue box.


 


 FROM PANE 4

Videos played from Pane 4 are independently controlled by each session attendee and seen by only the individual playing the video.


However, before any session attendee is able to access “My Videos” in Pane 4, the Host and/or Current Presenter must first “release” a video.

 

If a video has been “released” session attendees see the “My Videos” icon.


 

Select the video by clicking on the video name and the video will automatically start playing.

 

To “pause” or “stop” the video use the appropriate buttons.


 Adjust the volume.
