The current Presenter turns Annotation "on" from Presentations. The annotation tools are visible only to the current Presenter until he unlocks annotations for all other attendees.
To turn "on", click the annotate icon.
A loading progress bar appears. Allow a few seconds to load.

When annotation is "on", the tools appear.
Select the tool to use and change font and size below.
Once you have selected the annotation tool, annotate on the slide.
To download the annotated presentation into a PDF file, click the and choose, Save As PDF.
To save the annotated file as PDF directly to the Asset Library as a document asset type choose, Save to Asset Library.
Saving As PDF
When saving as a PDF for download, it will take a few seconds for the complete file to process and compile all annotations into one file.
Note: When annotations are "on", Documents and Screen Sharing are disabled. To enable access to Documents and Screen Share, turn annotations "off". And, to navigate between slides in the presentation, annotations must be turned off.
To turn "off' annotations, click the green annotation icon.
UNLOCKING ANNOTATIONS FOR ATTENDEES
Annotations must be "on" before annotations can be unlocked for other attendees.
When annotations are unlocked, the annotation tools appear for attendees (desktop and mobile).

To unlock annotations for all attendees at one time, use the Attendees Menu > Unlock Annotations.
To unlock annotations for an individual attendee, use the Attendee Options > Unlock Annotations.
Attendee View When Annotations Are Unlocked
Only the current Presenter may save a copy of the annotated file as a PDF directly to the Asset Library. However, when annotations are unlocked, the attendees may download the annotated PDF file directly to their computer.
To lock annotations for all attendees or one individual attendee, use the same tools seen above and choose, Lock Annotation.
IN BREAKOUT ROOMS
Annotations work exactly the same in Breakout Rooms for all desktop users.
Note: Mobile devices do not support Breakout Rooms at this time.
Session Recording (Server Side Recording)
Annotations are captured in the Main Room and Breakout Room recordings.
MOBILE PRESENTER
From the Menu > Presentations.
To turn "on" annotations click the green annotation icon.
The annotation tools appear.
To Unlock Annotations For All Attendees
Mobile Presenter goes to Settings > Unlock Annotations.
To Save The Annotated File As Document Asset Into The Asset Library
Turn Off Annotations
Click the "X".
Note: When annotations are "on", Documents are disabled. To enable access to Documents turn annotations "off". And, to navigate between slides in the presentation, annotations must be turned off.
Saving Files To The Asset Library
These files will be saved to the Session Assets and the Asset Library as a document asset type.
BACKGROUND IMAGES
The Background Image is a new whiteboard tool that allows users to permanently place an image on the whiteboard. Once the image has been added, attendees can mark up the image without any risk of deleting it from the whiteboard.
If you want to use this tool, be sure to add the file to your Session Assets as the asset type, Image.
Then from the Group Whiteboard choose, Insert Background.
Then mark up the image.
